Mölle by the Sea relies on a captivating blend of steel timber and glass with its two floors above the ground level offering ample visual contrast. The top level clad in saw-finish Douglas planks seems to almost float above ground as the all-glass lower level living area blends into the backdrop effortlessly.
It is the lower level of the house that holds the living areas while the top floor contains the master suite along with additional bedrooms and guest spaces. An opening in the top level fashions a spacious double-height kitchen and dining area that adds to the cheerful breezy character of this modern coastal residence.
But step inside and you will notice how a polished concrete floor and large windows add to this picture of contemporary minimalism at its refined best. Décor also blends in with this air of sleek sophistication as posters and artwork add a pinch of color to the living area.
It is this lower level that offers additional living spaces a home theater gym and other service zones while the top level contains the living area kitchen and dining room in one wing and the bedrooms in another. These two rectangular blocks are connected by a common roof that creates a lovely overhang for the walkways and outdoor sitting spaces around the house.
